Who is Denise Dubron?
Thank you so much for visiting my website! I want to share a little bit about myself with you. I have a master’s degree in clinical psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in sociology. I am also trained and certified as a Law of Attraction Coach, and an Integrative Health and Wellness Coach. Additionally, I am an Usui/Tibetan trained and certified Reiki Master teacher.
I have worked as a college professor since graduation in 2011. In addition to teaching, I also council and guide students about their lives and futures. I realized after a while that students and friends alike were not just coming to me for coaching and advice, but rather, they were drawn to me because I believed in their abilities to change their own lives in meaningful ways. They saw that I had made incredible changes in my life through my stories and faced my fears in ways they wished they could. Before long, I was getting asked advice on almost every aspect of life.
Although my training in psychology is advantageous and has proven to be very helpful, I decided to get trained as a life coach. Psychology training and therapy primarily focus on what ails you and issues from the past. This can feel negative and draining and at a loss of what to do next. Life coaching focuses on the positive, the present and the future. Between the years 2014 to 2018, I became trained as a Law of Attraction Coach, and an Integrative Health and Wellness Coach, and, from 2011 to 2014 as a Reiki Master/teacher.
To know my coaching style is to know the truest part of me. I am very energetic, enthusiastic, positive, inspiring, compassionate, empathetic, motivating, direct, funny and encouraging while working with individuals. I deal with difficult moments, feelings and situations head on with love, kindness and of course, humor. I can help you to feel open and ready to trust your own power. I will help you to move forward by teaching you the skills you need in order for you to make changes in your life on your own. YOU have the power to create the changes you want to see in your life.
The hardest thing I ever did in my life was get divorced. Don’t get me wrong, the first ten years out of the twenty-nine spent together were total and utter bliss. I thought I had truly married my soul-mate. It turns out that I was living a lie. Once I realized that, I almost didn’t know how to get out. At the time, I was so worried about appearances and what people would think than I was with my own happiness. During this process, I was in college earning my degrees because my fifteen year airline career had literally changed overnight due the events of September 11 2001; and shortly thereafter, in 2004, found out that out of nowhere, I needed bi-lateral hip replacement due to a rapid onset of osteoarthritis and osteonecrosis.
I had always been a woman who could figure anything out under any circumstances. I suddenly found myself at a loss, realizing that I had lost myself, and my identity over the years in this marriage and I had to find a way out and find myself again. My decision to divorce was met with resistant from family and friends alike. This was probably the biggest shock of my life. I found my greatest strength came out of those dark hours. I knew that I had no choice but to trust my own power. I know now, or shall I say once again, that I can handle and resolve absolutely anything that comes my way. Through it all I remained positive. I want you to know that I can help you do the same. I can help you find yourself. You will learn to take responsibility for your achievements and successes!
I hope I have given you a peek into my world and what it would be like to be coached by me. I look forward to hearing your stories and working through your challenges so you can live the life you only dared to image before!
